GOtv world-class content signal enters Nanyuki and its environs

GOtv customers in Nanyuki and its environment can now enjoy world-class festive season entertainment following the launch of a signal transmission site in the town.

The new station will see GOtv subscribers in Timau, Naro Moru, Doldol, and Thigitu access a wide range of family entertainment complete with clear picture quality at affordable cost.

At the moment, GOtv runs 24 sites spread across Kenya and plans are underway to add six more including the Nanyuki one in the coming weeks.

While commissioning the site, Laikipia County Executive Committee Member for Trade, Tourism, and Cooperatives, Biwott Tirop said, “This GOtv site will accord the residents of Nanyuki and neighboring areas an opportunity to plug into a wide selection of entertainment.

“The county government also welcomes this move as it will unlock more employment opportunities for residents of this area. We look forward to a continued partnership with MultiChoice Kenya as we look to enhance the existing mutual partnership,” Mr Tirop noted.

With the economic effects of the pandemic felt, consumers are increasingly price-conscious and selective in their non-essentials spending.

“The launch of these new sites also plays a key role in supporting the government’s agenda to increase access to credible information and affordable entertainment to Kenyans in all parts of the country,” she added.
